    Many states require vaccines only in connection with school and daycare enrollment, but some require vaccines separately in accordance with CDC recommendations or state requirements. So, unfortunately, you can't assume that vaccines aren't require if you home school, you need to find out what *your* state laws required. I home schooled one son in NC for a couple of years; I was required to write a religious exemption letter just like what's required for outside schools, but ironically, the way the home school laws were written, no one had authority to check to see if I had that statement, as far as I could tell. www.vaccinerights.com
